2023 Taiken-no-sato Collaboration Lecture on Archaeology and Nature "The Jomon People's Use of Plants
Under the theme of "Relationship between People and Nature," Taikean-no-sato holds exhibitions and lectures on the Shimoyakabe Ruins.
The village of Taikein holds exhibitions and lectures on the Shimoyakubu Ruins under the theme of "The Relationship between People and Nature".
In this collaborative lecture, we will learn about various Jomon people's use of plants as revealed by the excavation and research results of the Shimoyakebe site, and observe the same plants in present-day Hachikokuyama. Approaching the Shimoyakubu site and Hachikokuyama from both archaeological and natural perspectives, we will once again consider the symbiosis between people and nature.
This series of six sessions will be held on the third Saturday of odd-numbered months.
